We are delighted that you are interested in Wonders Academy. The application process is not intended to be a barrier to entry, but is  designed to make sure that we are the right school to serve your family’s needs.

We know this process will take some work, but reinventing education is worth it.

Applications will be considered in the order they are received.

Step One: Research and Introduction

Review the Wonders Academy and Acton Academy websites to gain a solid idea of who we are and what we are about.  If  you think we are a good fit for your family, then please introduce  yourself.  Send an email which addresses the following:

• How have you been satisfied and dissatisfied with your child’s education so far?
• What attracted you the most to our school? How did you first hear of us?
• Please include your child’s name, birth date and your contact information.

Step Two: Open House

If available at the time of your interest, attend an Open House and explore our community hands-on. 

Step Three: The Application and Auditions

Once you feel like you have had your questions answered and are excited about joining the community, fill out the application we will also email to you. We will review it in the order it was received and set up a family interview.

Step Four: A Family Interview & Invitation to Studio

After we receive your application, you and your child will be invited to meet with us and discuss our learning community and how it works. Please bring a sample of your child’s writing, recent work in math and/or a project or assignment of which your child is  proud. Be prepared to discuss the types of activities your child enjoys and/or loses themselves in. Ask us lot of questions!

Upon completion of the Family Interview, your child will be invited  to join us in the Studio for 1 week, giving everyone the opportunity to determine if they believe the environment is a good fit for all.

Step Five: Acceptance

Ensuring we have mutually agreed that Wonders Academy and your family are the right fit and we have a good balance of boys and girls of appropriate ages, we will approve the application.  At that point, you will receive a parent packet that will contain the following:

• Enrollment Forms and Financial Agreements
• Auto Pay Form
• Parent Contract
• Student Contract (if entering mid-year)
• First Family Quest: Family Mission Statement
• Yearly Calendar
• Volunteer Form
• Family Handbook

You will then return within a week’s time the following completed forms:

• Enrollment Forms and Financial Agreement
• Enrollment Fee
• Auto Pay Form
• Parent Contract
• Student Contract
• First Family Quest: Family Mission Statement
• Volunteer Form
• Copy of Birth Certificate
• Copy of Immunization Records or Declaration
